Another standout is the "Sorry Charlie" fish burger, made with sushi-grade tuna that’s fresh and perfectly cooked, offering a flavorful and satisfying bite. While the food is top-notch, you might experience a bit of a wait as they focus on online orders. Parking can also be a bit challenging, especially during busy times. Still, the quality of the food makes any minor inconvenience well worth it.
Our family ate here while on vacation. We enjoyed it. The Rueben and Prime Rib were good. The hamburgers actually got mixed reviews in the family. My husband and daughter enjoyed their burgers. I liked mine alright, but it wasn’t as thrilling as how they felt over their’s. Our server was AMAZING - thanks Serenity!! And the restaurant was alright. There was just not much seating. All in all very good though. I would definitely go back.
Went to Blue Cow last night and will definitely be going again. I was so excited to see cheese curds on the menu. Since in the South cheese curds are cheese bites. As someone who’s from Wisconsin these cheese curds are the best I’ve had since relocating to North Carolina. The Green Tomato & Pimento Burger so good a flavor bomb. The pork rinds made in house are absolutely delicious. Lindsey was our waitress excellent service.
We ended up eating here because the place we planned to eat at was too crowded but I am glad we did! I was seriously impressed by the food!! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Its small but don’t let it’s size fool you! Out waitress was very nice. Fried mushrooms were outstanding, blackened shrimp tacos are great, my daughter got the BLT and onion rings, both delicious. My mom got the crab cake and it was amazing as well. We will 100% go back.
Serenity was an upbeat and attentive waitress. We hit up some sort of eatery in Southport every time we have to say goodbye to the beach. Her service and the food made our goodbye just a little less bitter and far sweeter.
Stopped in with my wife on a field trip to South Port. 1st time there. They were busy but did a great job of greeting everyone and managing the tables. Laura was our helper. She was awesome and took excellent care of us. Food was very good. Pricing was fair. Food was prepared quickly. I had shrimp and corn soup. It was great. Chili cheese fries were very good. Definitely will be returning again. Great location in downtown.
I recently visited your restaurant while in town celebrating my friend Missy’s birthday, and I wanted to reach out to share what a wonderful experience we had. The atmosphere was quaint and the customer service was truly excellent. Missy thoroughly enjoyed the fried mushrooms and wings, and I was incredibly impressed with the half broccoli and cheddar soup and the brisket sandwich. The green sauce on the sandwich was easily the most delicious I have ever tasted. Everything was a 10 out of 10, and I will certainly recommend!
DELICIOUS!! Worth the wait!! Small restaurant they have only 7 tables and the sweetest hardest working ladies there. Faye was our waitress and she was amazing and although it was busy she kept checking up on our table. My husband got the blue cow burger and it was seasoned delicious and so juicy. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with homemade chips that were crispy and perfect with their home made ranch. The fried green tomatoes are a must crispy and so tender. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. I wish I lived closer and had more room in my stomach to eat more. Can’t wait to go back soon.
No reservations - First come, first serve. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and they were very good. There were three people in our group and all three were very happy with their meals. The meals were The Rodeo Burger, The Reuben, and The Fried Green Pimento Burger. This is a busy little restaurant, so please be prepared to wait if you get there during a busy time. The food is worth any wait you may have to endure. Our server was Serenity and she was very personable and patient as this was our first visit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Got “The Sorry Charlie” tuna sandwich on brioche bun and it was delicious along with home made chips and of course ranch dressing and mymom got the BLT sandwich and French fries EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. Highly recommended
